Good gods, I came here to make the observation about how cute her little boob fits so well into his slight gut and realized that the probable reason why the kiss looked so awkward for Jenna is because she is a righty and Martin is a lefty. And I find what really helps if finding a comfortable pen for you (or sleeve/grip if you're limited with styluses like on IOS devices) and tips (if digital), which will also help with avoiding strain and positioning your hand/fingers/tablet weirdly. If you draw digitally and use a tablet with an EMR pen, usually those can be swapped out with other more ergonomic ones with no issue. For example, I like using a Wacom One pen with metal replacement nibs with my s6 lite when I draw on it, way more comfortable and easy to control. If you want to find good options for those, a lot of Reddit threads on them exist. Also, matte/paperlike screen protectors feel great and pretty cheap nowadays, but do eat plastic and rubber tab pen tips.

For actual drawing stuff, I find pulling the lines versus pushing really helps with smoothness, especially with the lines going where you actually want them to go, and finding a comfortable pressure curve (if you use pressure settings, if not perhaps edit velocity and tilt settings if your program has those if drawing digitally) and stabilizer help a ton. The pull vs. push might vary by handedness, though, since lefties "push" lines and letters on paper when writing when righties "pull" their letters and lines along paper, y'know? So that might vary per person and their sense of comfort and what feels right.

Also, if you're someone who finds it hard to line sketches because the lineart just doesn't look like the sketch, gaussian blur the sketches a bit. It might help kill the perfectionist in your brain for those pieces. Studying how other artists do lineart and where and why they use different weights and level of detail definitely can't hurt either.

Something about Vecna's Left Hand 🤔

This post centers around the patterns of handedness in the NINA sequence and Creel flashbacks as it relates to Henward's bloodstains.

Honest to God, though, I'm trying my damnedest to find a good way to organize all the pictures I've annotated about this guy. I decided it was best to just go by jumpsuit, so I'm using Em's current naming system (JA-JE) for cohesion between sources. I also decided to try to narrow the main shots down to ones that include hand use, since that's what I really care about in this post (even though some others will be included for speculation purposes). I'm not diving into injuries or bodies, even if there are annotations about those topics, because those aren't super applicable in regard to this analysis.

I won't rule out the possibility of him being a Vecna, of course. He's just not the thicker one we're shown concretely by the transformation sequence in 4.07.

This is our guy. This is the jumpsuit that we're told goes with our main Vecna via the transformation sequence in 4.07.

He's a lefty.

JC is also the only bloody Henward we see doing hands-free moves, interestingly enough.

His Jumpsuit matches Vec-Ward's, as seen here:

JD's only appearance is at the very end. He does not appear before El slams him through the mirror.

He isn't shown using his hands, but his jumpsuit matches the guy who shaped the Mindflayer (as seen here):

A Quick Recap:

JA, JC, and JD are all lefties. We have seen no right-handed Massacre-Henwards so far.

The only bloody Henward I have questions about is JE, and that is solely because his sequence is shot through a mirror, presenting a lefty as a righty.

He's holding her chin in his left hand, but the camera choice presents it as his right hand. I can't, of course, rule anything out (especially given all the "mirror/holding up a mirror" stuff with him).

At the end of the day...it is meant to be recognized as his left hand, otherwise they wouldn't show us the mirror at all. They would just cut to him using his right hand normally. So, unless I have reason to think otherwise, I'm assigning him working-lefty.

I also can't concretely assign the bloodless JB suit.

This is because his only move is the hands-free one that we see JC do in the previous shot:

For now, though, I'm also assigning him working-lefty. This is based on the direction of his head tilt, which is the same as our other known lefty:

I won't say that we don't have Henries in this sequence, because of course I can't say that. If he is shown on screen, though...he's either JB or JE, one of our two inconclusive lefties.

However: As it stands, we do not have any concrete righties, which would be an indisputable indicator of Henry's status as a mass murderer. If they wanted it to be indisputable, they would have made it that way.

Hunter had been overworking himself.

Doing all the chores Camila would allow , staying up late and getting up early, only taking a break to eat and sleep. (And even that was questionable) Hunter was becoming burnt out and not even realizing.

Amity knew this. She used to overwork herself too, and recognized all the signs of burnout in him.

She knew she had to do something about it. Burn out was never good, and although she understood why(most likely past pressure from Belos, she guessed) it still wasn’t good.

So, one day, she came up to hunter while he was awake and alone.

“Hey hunter.” She whispered, in a (thankfully successful) attempt to not wake up Gus who was asleep next to them.

“Oh. Hi Amity, did I wake you up? I’m sorry. “ he whispered back, looking a little crestfallen

“Oh, no , it’s not that. I’ve been up. I just wanted to have a chat with you,” she said quickly, noticing his expression and not wanting to make things worse.

“Okay… umm.. do you think we could go to the shack? That way we don’t wake anyone?”

“Yeah! I was going to suggest that.”

After the two had arrived at the shack, they sat down on the carpet.

“So,” Hunter began, no longer whispering now that there was no need to. “What did you want to talk about?”

“Nothing too bad, I promise. “ Amity started, “it’s just that… you’re clearly overworking yourself. “

“No I - “ Hunter couldn’t even get two words out before he got cut off.

“Don’t even bother arguing with me, I used to be like that and I know all the signs of burnout, you, my friend, are ringing all those bells. “

Hunter opened and closed his mouth a few times before finally saying, “that’s just my routine” in such a small voice Amity could barely hear it.

“I know, and it’s horrible that you grew up like that, but Belos isn’t here anymore to make you, you can take a break. “

“I know.” He whispered. “It’s just hard for me to unclench my jaw and loosen my grip, Y’know?”

This made an idea start to form in Amity’s mind. A mischievous, yet still kind, smile wormed it’s way on to Amitys face.

“So you need to loosen up, huh?”

Hunter hesitated a moment . “What’s with the tone?” He said, suspicious.

“How about I help you with that! “ she cried out , before pouncing.

She immediately started to scratch at the back of Hunter’s knees, maybe not his worst spot, but definitely a bad one.

“Amitihihihiy! Whahahaht thehehee heheck!” He immediately broke down into frantic laughter, gap toothed smile showing off.

“Helping you! C’mon, loosen up!”

“I ahahaham! “

“But is it enough though? Tickle tickle tickle tickle tickle! Tickle the tension away!” (A/N: writing this is flustering me so hard rn-)

Hunter’s face immediately burst into pink. “Nohohoho teheheheashihing!”

“So you don’t want me to stop tickling you then?”

“Dihihid Ihi sahahahy thahahat?” Hunter giggled out before flipping himself forward and tackling Amity to the ground, flipping their positions.

Hunter went for Amity’s sides first. Poking them sporadically.

“Hehey! Thihihis wahahas nohohot myhyhi plahAHAN!”

“Too bad! You should’ve factored it in!”

He said, noticing how Amity immediately turned into Amity Tomato tm .

“Maybe you need some loosening to!”

He exclaimed, twisting his hand left like he was using a wrench “how did that human saying go? Lefty loosey, righty tighty, correct?”

It was silly, but it was working.

Do you have any headcanons for Legs? If not, then that’s okay <:)

Oh you better believe I have headcanons, especially for a man like Legs. He's pretty mysterious and doesn't say a lot which gives me the pleasure to make stuff up about him based on the little things we do know from the show. Legs is mysterious, very, he ain't saying nothin, he ain't trustin nobody and the only people he talks to are his close friends. And some of these headcanons are:

Now it's obvious that both him and Louie have been friends with Tony since childhood but I believe, what happened before they met, Legs had his own gang and would usually terrorize other students on the playground of the same catholic school the three were all attending. And one day when Tony witnessed what Legs and his team were doing to a kid, he realized the talent that this young boy has and so he asked if Legs would join his junior mafia. Legs said no at first but after he realized who Tony was the son of, he decided to give the junior mafia a try and what followed after was a long and tight friendship. (I will write a huge origin story one day, with thoughts and my own imagination at play. Because if the writers are not gonna do it then I'll do it myself)

In "Homie the clown" he said that he saw four krustys even after he rubbed his eyes to see straight, (Even though there were only two krustys) which makes me think that he could possibly be short sighted and therefore would wear glasses. Though he doesn't at times when he's at work because according to himself, "No person would ever be afraid of a mobster with glasses." But he does wear them while he's at home.

We obviously know he has a son named "Calves" who appeared in the comics along with Louie's son and Michael. But I choose to see that as non-canon (Since he only came up once in comics, counting as his only appearance and the show never hints to Legs's son), yeah Calves is cute but I don't really see him being Legs's son. Who I do see as his daughter would be Piper from Bossy riot in "Bart vs. Itchy & Scratchy", she has the same level of mischievousness as Calves does and is pretty extreme in her pranks. She's obviously Legs's daughter, with the way she's already in a sort of gang like friendgroup like Legs once was in his early childhood. (But I admit, calves could also exist in the real show. Though he would be the child of Legs's ex-wife, they divorced because of an affair he went through and so he sort of lost custody over Calves. Calves was also like 2 years old when that happened.) - Despite being so mysterious, he's actually the most kindest of the bunch. And he has been ever since childhood, his usual rambunctious demeanor was just for show and not tell what lies underneath him. But I do admit, he was more wild as a young kid than he is now. That likely changed due to his age but he is more calmer and friendlier than his childhood counterpart. He's the type of guy you can always wend yourself to if you have any problems and he also works as a sort of therapist for the other members, seeing as he has a degree in Psychology that he studied for as a second profession if his plans didn't go through in college. (he's a smart man, like I said)

Now Johnny Tightlips is a capo and Frankie is a soldier, Tony is the underboss and Don vittorio is the actual boss. Other mobsters we see are genuinely just soldiers or associates. Which leaves Louie and Legs to be uncategorized, And they're not really caporegimes either since there's already Johnny, Lefty and Righty in that position. Mafia's usually have three or four capos but I still choose to see Legs and Louie not as such, it just doesn't make sense. They started out with Tony as a small gang with only themselves to trust, it would have made sense if those two were capos back then since the gang was still small and struggling in the east end but as time flew by and more joined, Louie and Legs decided to step down from their capo positions to make room for Lefty and Righty, two more experienced capo's. And so they would stand back and just be hit-men, still involved in Tony's plans and operations.

Their friendship with Tony is what brings me to this conclusion, as capo's they had to spend most of their time outside on the streets with their soldiers, not even being close to Tony. So after Lefty and Righty joined, the two reduced themselves to being hit-men and bodyguards of Tony so that they could stay closer by his side and to protect him. Which would even make sense in reality since the two were never stated to be capo's, in the book Chief Wiggum's Book of Crime and Punishment, Legs is classified as the "Hired Goon" And the police records on the Springfield Mafia describe Legs as a "Gangster/Criminal/Suspicious" type of mobster. It wouldn't make sense for them to be capo's if they are so closely connected with Tony.

You know, Legs is very accompanied with the yakuza and other japanese mafias in springfield and the U.S.A so I feel like he knows a bit of japanese to talk with them. And he probably took karate when he was young.

Apparently in the Simpsons: Tapped out game Legs has 172 swiss army knives and he can't pay his rent because of that, which makes me think that he's got a serious problem. But hey, the man loves knives.

what He also mentioned in Tapped out was that he got a Master's in Fiscal Studies which makes me think Since he's an experienced mob doctor like Tony himself said

(Look at his cute ass smile when Tony mentions the slug, that is the smile of a son whose Father is telling other relatives about his talents) Which got me thinking. Okay so he went to college for two different reasons

He prolly studied another subject if his career as a doctor didn't go as planned. He's a pretty smart dude but still manages to fall for pranks set by other people, including Bart's. (One example is in the hilarious "Homie the clown" when Krusty asked to go the bathroom but actually left the country in reality, Legs said "When He's done in there, I gotta go" (Oh Legs, you sweet innocent man)

We don't even know his real name other than he's known as "Legs" because he's tall? And it can't be Max Legman 'cuz that just sounds like a child made it up, it's probably just an alias he uses when checking into hotels or telling girls in the nightclub to keep his cover. ( He's also shown to be quite the party animal seeing as he has appeared in some scenes like "Homerazzi" and "Flaming Moe's". Man likes to have fun.)

We know he has a slouched back and poor posture, which leaves some options for why it became that way. Maybe a injury to his spine or a disease that formed in his early childhood. I personally believe it could be Scheuermann's Kyphosis that caused his figure to turn out that way, it formed in his early childhood and when he was taken to the doctors because of it they advised for him a back brace since he was still a child and growing. His parents couldn't afford that, neither could they get physical therapy for him, they just barely could get money for pain medication to at least have their son in not all so much pain. But nowadays he got the needed Money to get physical therapy so that his condition isn't gonna get any worse.

I feel like he likes to listen to classical Italian music, opera especially, he's a big fan of Renata Tebaldi and Andrea Bocelli. Though his musical taste often gets in the way of Louie's whenever they are driving in the car, always arguing about what to put on. And sometimes even Tony gets caught in between their squabble, forcing the three to often drive around just sitting in silence.

His favorite dessert is Panna cotta. Which he usually orders when he, Louie, Johnny, Frankie and Tony go to La Coffee Nostra for some afternoon tea break from their work. - he's a professional pool player, just try and challenge him to a match, in the end you will only leave with a broken spirit. - He's honestly such a women magnet, not because it's his manners and ways of treating ladies but because it's also of his looks. (Man's got a good fashion taste) Each time he enters a new club all the ladies just swarm him and treat him to a drink. He often leaves clubs with lipstick marks all over his face. - Since he's the tallest out of everyone in the family, he likes to pick on Frankie and Louie who are the shortest of the bunch. They know it's all just fun and jokes but even they can get annoyed by Legs. Especially when he bends his knees to get down on their eye level to talk with them. Now these are just some of my many headcanons about it, Made for my own enjoyment.

i was, like, yesterday years old when i learned that writing in english is actually harder for left-handed people. not just the same motions flipped, not just more difficult to learn when you're a kid because the teachers don't know how to work with you, but actually physically harder. because english is written left to right, righties get to pull while lefties have to push. and that's harder! and it doesn't seem like much but it adds up. not just in the shaping of each letter but also in the way you even have to orient your hand compared to the paper - that hook hand position that fucks up your wrist after 20 minutes of writing? righties don't have to do that! they can just rest their hand on the paper in alignment with their wrist! it's not even an issue for them! and because of the differences in the force needed to pull vs push a modern viscous-ink ballpoint pen, your typical rightie can go further without hand cramps or strain compared to your typical leftie.

The Twins At A Glance- The Twins started the season on a perfect note. They swept the Royals and only gave up four runs in the three-game series. Joey Gallo shined on Sunday with two homers, three hits, and four RBI. Byron Buxton is hitting 6-for-13 (.462) to start the year. Trevor Larnach has hit the ball well and went 5-for-11 this past weekend. Max Kepler is the rare one not hitting. He is 0-for-13 to start the year. You might see Willi Castro get a start in right field once or twice. I think he starts against left Jesus Luzardo and maybe another game. The Twins are staying with a strict platoon of Nick Gordon versus righties and Kyle Farmer against lefties at second base. Donovan Solano came in on Opening Day and got an RBI single for Joey Gallo. The pitching staff has a 1.33 ERA over twenty-seven innings. Rocco Baldelli was able to give Griffin Jax, Jhoan Duran, and Caleb Thielbar days off on Sunday. Jorge Lopez won’t be available for Monday’s game after pitching in three of the past four days. Cole Sands has yet to appear out of the bullpen as well. 

The Marlins At A Glance- The Marlins lost three of four games to the Mets over the weekend. The offense was the main problem as they put up just eight runs in the four games. Luis Arraez is off to a good start in his new home. He is hitting 9-for-16 (.563) with a double and an RBI. Garrett Cooper hit 5-for-13 (.385) with a homer against the Mets. The team picked up Jean Segura to be their everyday third basemen. Jazz Chisholm was moved to center field after the Luis Arraez traded. He hit 2-for-13 in the Mets series. The Marlins also signed Yuli Gurriel, who made the team out of camp. The pitching is the strength of this team and they might have one of the best starting rotations even without Pablo Lopez. Sandy Alcantara is coming off a Cy Young season, Jesus Luzaro is a good lefty that nobody has heard about, and Johnny Cueto signed with Miami after a good year for the White Sox in 2022. He will make his Marlins debut on Monday night. The Marlins bullpen gave up eight runs over 16 1/3 innings so far. Matt Barnes and JT Chargois have thrown two shutout innings each. AJ Puk has the lone save out of the bullpen. 

What To Watch For- The Twins are (9-7) all-time against the Marlins. The two teams last met in 2019 and the Twins took two of three games in Miami. The Twins have won four of the last six meetings against the Marlins. Tyler Mahle is (0-2) with a 3.00 ERA in three starts against the Marlins. Johnny Cueto is (5-1) with a 2.62 ERA in seven starts versus the Twins. Kenta Maeda is (1-2) with a 2.28 ERA in five games against Miami. Sandy Alcantara gave up seven runs over 4 2/3 innings in his only game against the Twins. Pablo Lopez is (14-15) with a 3.45 ERA in fifty starts at Marlins Park. Jesus Luzardo threw 5 1/3 shutout innings in his only start facing the Twins. Obviously there is the Pablo Lopez-Luis Arraez trade that happened over the winter. it was my favorite time ever in summer. It was so fun. we stayed there for 2 days n we went to 2 pool party both on day time and night time. I was a big party goer at that time. lol. good wild old times.

Buuuuut, as much as a big party goer i was, my weird germ freak ass didnt want to go into the pool. 😅 it gross me out because it was too crowded, n i feel like the water is so dirty.. even though my mind was pretty dirty from seeing all those women in bikinis but i have nobody to talk about it since my friends who went with me didnt know how crazy i am about women. Lol.
